About Heidi

My Home

I grew up in Port Orchard, Washington, the youngest of four in a Catholic household. I met my husband, Carl, in 1992, and we have been happily married for 30 years. We are the proud parents of two successful daughters. As empty nesters, we share our home with three rescue pets: two dogs, Allie and Gator, and one cat, Dory.

My husband, Carl, and I founded Farmer Fresh Produce in 2000 and ProduceGPO in 2016. I currently oversee the finances for both companies, ensuring their continued growth and success. In 2021, we established Farmed Fresh for MS, a nonprofit dedicated to giving back to our community. It’s mission is to provide fresh, healthy produce while educating people about the importance of nutrition.

We have sponsored food giveaways in communities such as Biloxi, Shubuta, and the Mississippi Delta, helping to make fresh produce accessible to those in need.

Community

Community service is one of my greatest passions. I am a member of the Rotary Club of Central Hancock County, the Diamondhead Women’s Club, and Gone Fishin’ Food Ministry, where we prepare meals for those in need.

Another cause close to my heart is supporting veterans. My husband and I are avid supporters of Crusaders for Veterans. We also support Veterans Outreach, which supplies healthy fruits and vegetables to Veterans’ homes for their Thanksgiving dinner.

My Beliefs

I believe in term limits and pledge to serve no more than two terms. I will also donate a portion of my salary to local nonprofit charities. With my expertise in fiscal management, leadership, and advocacy, I am ready to bring transparent and effective governance to the City and Ensure that Diamondhead works for everyone.
